Linda Espy

I've always loved to draw and paint.  About five years ago, I discovered polymer clay and was "hooked!"  After teaching special education for 32 years, I'm finally able to spend all my time working on my figures.  I absolutely LOVE making the figures and spend most of my day in the "Rabbit Hole", otherwise known as my basement.

I have sculpted many Santas, both tiny and life-sized.  Mark Twain, Mother Teresa, Shakespeare, Hemingway, and Albert Einstein are among my character dolls.  I've taken watercolor classes from Ralph Taylor and Nita Engle, and doll sculpting from Jack Johnston.

My dolls have been featured in Contemporary Doll Collector, Doll Reader, Dolls, and Doll.  My work will be on display at the annual "Rattling Gourd Art Festival", held in November in Summerville, Georgia.
